My Story
Childhood Spark:
As a coloring book author, I’m thrilled to share my journey with you. Growing up, my love for drawing was often overlooked until one day in Miss Lucy’s drawing class, everything changed. She asked us to draw a homestead with farm animals. I vividly remember her sketching different poses of a hen on the blackboard. Inspired, I drew a hen standing and picking at the grass front view. Her reaction, the way she showcased my work to the class, still warms my heart. It felt like my first creative success, and it lit a fire that’s never gone out. That moment led me to explore art theory and the deep history of illustration.
Rediscovery After 25 Years:
In my advanced school years, I fell in love with pencil sketching, some of those pieces are still framed on my wall. But life took me into the corporate world, and art quietly slipped away. 25 years passed in a flash. Today, I’m reconnecting with my passion, sharing it through coloring books, puzzles, mazes, and dot-to-dot pages that bring calm, joy, and a bit of childhood wonder into everyday life.
A Tribute to My Mother:
This space also honors my mother, a naturally gifted artist whose pencil sketches, glass paintings, and appliqué designs were quietly brilliant. Though she never got the spotlight she deserved, her creative spirit lives on through me and through every page I publish.
